In 2020, Eivind Hannisdal released his first solo work, “Fantastiske fortellinger for symfoniorkester” (“Fantastic Tales for Symphony Orchestra”). Inspired by romantic and impressionist composers as well as classic film scores, the music is recorded by a 40-piece orchestra gathered by Eivind, the Oslo Session Orchestra. The music is available on Spotify, YouTube, iTunes, and other streaming platforms.

For Christmas 2021, Eivind Hannisdal collaborated with classical ensemble Chestnuts Quintet, to make the album Jul i teateret (“Christmas at the Theater”). Eivind produced and made arrangements for the album, as well as writing music and lyrics for a new Christmas song, “Ho ho, jeg er julenissen” (“Ho ho, I`m Santa Claus”). Music from the album circulated at NRK`s classical radio station in December 2021 and 22.
